Early Winter - by Allie and David

So this mix of ours went through quite an evolution to get to this point. It was originally a 100% electronic/trip-hop mix with few vocals, but to spare everyone from going mad we added variety to the point there was little to no electronics left. Being said, we lost our "theme" in the process, but we still liked it so we will simply call this the early winter mix :) enjoy.

1. "Madder Red" by Yeasayer

2. "I Want the World to Stop" by Belle & Sebastian

3. "David" by The Radio Dept

4. "We Own the Sky" by m83

5. "Friday Night" by Ariel's Pink Haunted Graffiti

6. "Helicopter" by Deerhunter

7. "Zebra" by Beach House

8. "Bright Bright Bright" by Dark Dark Dark

9. "Tighten Up" by the Black Keys

10. "Art isn't Real (City of Sin)" by Deer Tick

11. "Ramona" by Beck

12. "Down From Above" by Vetiver

  1. Woah- a straight-up electronic mix only? I would've started talking robot by the end of the night. But, thank you so much guys for this mix! We are out the door right now for a date-night and will play this mix on our way. Can't wait to hear it; I always love your mixes!

  4. THIS mix ended up being pretty random I think. David wanted to do an electronic mix and I just gave him the reigns... then once he completed it I had seconds thoughts about giving him all the control haha ;) sorry david. so it ended up being a really random mix of songs either david or I like right now. next time we will try to have a theme!

  5. Thanks for the mix. I thought I responded to this post before but I don't see it here. Anyway, making a mix isn't easy. Thanks for doing it and for providing very little electronic music. On the other hand, since I don't really have any in my collection, it might have been nice to get some of the good stuff from you...so either way it woulda been cool.
Hope you're ok w/ the mix I made.
